A showcase of my last two projects in my final year of studying Illustration where I explore mental health through abstract visuals.
I designed a social networking website by amalgamating aspects from the industries to create an illustrated backdrop. I have then designed different sea creatures to represent each profession to appear on the site as and when the creative is in the local area so that others can easily see who is in their area and get in touch if they would like some company while they work on a project of their own.
The Lonely Creative is a project designed to encourage creatives from all industries to combat isolation by working together in social spaces without the pressure of having to collaborate.
This project was submitted to the Creative Conscience Competition.
I have also taken the illustrations of the sea creatures to create pins that represent each of the industries so that people can use them to be easily identifiable.
Navigate is a project about creating a visual aid for people who want clarity on how and why they think and feel to better understand themselves and others. I created a deck of cards that I hope will help provoke questions and encourage exploration into certain aspects of the users thoughts and feelings when using them.
There are no instructions or set way to use the cards, only suggestions to help with people who are new to them.
This image includes the design for the back of the cards.
