INTRODUCTION
This portfolio is made up of two projects:
TEMPLE OF ANTITHESIS –
The aim was to create a solitude and gathering space for spiritual use. My interpretation was to create separate forms of solitude and gathering spaces, this was so that the area could have a sense of physical journey as a reflection of a spiritual one.
MADE IN BLACKPOOL –
In this project the idea was to create a souvenir. I expanded on the idea of 3D printing and found ways to encourage people to visit the space of Blackpool to find plastic waste on their travel and trade that for filaments (material used for 3D printing) or for a model of their desire to be printed. I incorporated the trade of plastic into the system of the homeless shelter. the use of plastic is a way that homeless people can trade for a night in the shelters built.
