Here you will find a brief description of the Irregular Pavilion.

Power and production pavilion

The pavilion is inspired by my childhood memory of African grasshoppers and the portrait characters are examples of African cultural figures, that could form an exhibition in the pavilion exploring the cultural mix within society including local Lancashire scenes.

Foundation BSc Architecture, Power and Production Pavilion

The pavilion I designed is situated on the New Square opposite the UCLan Student Centre and was inspired by the large grass sloping roof at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Liverpool, designed by Building Design Partnership. The grass slope links the natural environment to the structure seamlessly, to provide a landscaped area in an urban setting.

Power and Production Pavilion

The final pavilion model includes an iridescent roof providing an air of sophistication and elegance, aimed to attrack the viewer and transport them to another cheerful and quiet environment.
